# Benefits for Gamers

### :potable\_water: New **liquidity**

As the Ebay of game-trading we offer a convenient and productive way for gamers to monetize their items and use this new liquidity in various ways. Gamers can convert their ingame assets into:

1. FIAT cash
2. MXDT tokens and invest them
3. MXDT tokens to convert into other crypto currencies
4. trade against other game assets

Gamers can also generate passive income from staking, i.e. simply holding on to their tokens.

### :mortar\_board: Access to financing: scholarships

Gamers can receive scholarships to play games. In the beginning scholarships will be simple and focused on Pay-to-Play titles, where the risk-return profile is already known. Over time the exact mechanism will evolve and include more sophisticated asset price calculators and also NFT-based items.

Gamers can also provide scholarships by investing their $MXDT or by lending out their game NFTs to other members of the community.

### :military\_medal: NFT ownership

We will provide our own financial utility-focused NFTs that can be used across our platform. These NFTs created in partnership with 3rd party game studios will include special privileges such as early-access to new games or CBT, discounts and rebates and special membership status.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ocean-wave-tkn.gitbook.io/whitepaper-the-metaverse-exchange-dao/benefits-for-gamers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
